After 2 years of research and trials we have successfully created a quality Conditioning Shampoo Bar. The bar comes in a muslin bag. Shampoo bars are popular because they help eliminate the 5 million plastic bottles dumped into landfills each year. These bars lather just like your regular shampoo and are made of the most gentle surfacants possible.
Directions: Rub shampoo bar over wet hair or in your hands to create rich lather. Rinse Hair. Store on soap saver to allow bar to dry between uses. Each bar lasts between30-50 washes.

All River Ridge soaps have been cured for four to six weeks. Curing allows the water in the bar to evaporate, leaving a hard bar of sponified oils and scent.
Handmade bar soaps continue to harden as water evaporates out of the bar over time. If left in water or on the side of a tub soaps will absorb the water and become mushy, thus reversing the curing! Nothing wrong with the mushy soap--your bar will just not last as long!
